Just found this clip on the net, of the European tour of Beauty and the beast with a blond Belle

Though I'm no fan of the show, I liked the subtle differences in the costume and set design. Less "cartoony" than the Broadway counterpart.

The designs in this European tour are better versions of the North Shore Music Theatre designs, and I believe the director and choreographer are also the same as the North Shore production (which was the very first MTI-licensed regional production).

It looks so beautiful. It looks like you can take it more seriously because of the sumptuous design.

Hmmm...besides the Beast looking like a goat, it really is beautiful.

I like the blonde Belle. Its different, but it definatly changes my thinking about why the Beast wants Belle to stay so much...
