Bebe in CHICAGO - extention?

Sorry if this has been asked before. I searched and found nothing.

Does anyone know if Bebe is extending her stay as Roxie yet? I'm going to be in the city in May and am hoping she stays so I can see her. Thanks!

ooh I'm not sure. She might. She's really been drawing in the crowds.

But she is Bebe Neuwirth, and if she's ready to leave, she's going to leave. (hope you can see her :)

Huh? CHICAGO's been having their lowest attendance/grosses in months with Bebe! I know it's the Winter and everything, but she's simply not selling.

As ljay said, she's doing nothing for the box office.

But then again, to be fair, the Weissler's didn't bring her back to do big business for them. Most people on the street don't know Bebe Neuwirth from the next joe schmo, so her casting was certainly not one designed for a financial surge in ticket sales.

Well on the same plain, my father (who knows nothing about pop culture either and is even a big "Cheers" fan) didn't recognize her nor know who she was by name when I ran into her in NY with him. Neither did any of the people I happily told about seeing her, so I guess that evens things out.
