#2Belasco Balcony Question
Posted: 11/4/10 at 8:03pmI saw Women on the Verge from the front row of the balcony and my view wasn't obstructed at all. I hope that helps. There was still a bar there to obviously prevent one from falling, but it wasn't distracting at all.
#2Belasco Balcony Question
Posted: 11/4/10 at 8:20pmI sat in the third row of the balcony and the pipe covered the very front of the stage. Whenever someone walked all the way downstage (which was only a few times) we could only see them from the knees up, but otherwise it wasn't a problem.

My husband and I got tickets with a discount code in the front of the balcony. We got the two seats on the end in the third row. The box office guy insisted they were full view when we purchased them a few weeks prior. Unfortunately, when we arrived, it very well looked like the boxes/lighting equipment would block our view of stage left. My husband complained and asked if we could be reseated in the balcony in non-obstructed seats because it looked like there were some that were empty in the back center. The house manager was kind enough to give us two seats on the aisle in row M of the orchestra. We definitely weren't expecting that, but it was a nice thing for her to do.
It seemed to me that most seats in the center weren't obstructed, even in the first row. Provided one was not sitting behind a pole, of course. I could see someone having a problem if they were sitting on the extreme sides of the first couple of rows of the balcony due to the lighting equipment though.
