Quite a while ago I remember reading an article--maybe in the NYT--about David Belasco's famed 10-room penthouse apartment at the top of the Belasco Theatre. I was wondering if anyone knows what that space is being used for now? Has it been renovated? I tried Googling it but didn't come up with much.

Interesting mention at the following website. Don't know how old the info is.

I believe -- and I may be WAY off on this -- that the Shuberts use it for a storage space, either for archives or other theatre-related memorabilia. I know I read that a space in one of their theatres is used for that purpose.
It isn't used for anything. The air conditioning for the theatre runs through the apartment.
Jeez, pretty cluttered designed that Belasco was.
I mean that fist pic looks like something out of The Adventurers' Club in Disney World.
The Belasco is gorgeous, I'd just live in the theatre itself.
