I was asked to be part of the production team for a local high school production of Bells Are Ringing. I just wanted to get some basic information. I have the Original Broadway Cast Recording with Judy Holliday and I also bought the 2001? Revival Recording with Faith Prince. Which one is more suited to the version that Tams-Witmark licenses? I haven't received any materials from the director, I just gave them a verbal confirmation. I just wanted to see if anyone on here knew the song list that is included with the version TW licenses.

Obviously you should get in touch with Tams-Witmark, located in Manhattan. Their phone number is 212-688-2525.

Or simpler yet: ASK YOUR DIRECTOR. If you are on the production team, certainly the director wouldn't hide this info from you.

I'm really not trying to be snarky...but rather than SEARCHING for the answer, just ask the person that will know best.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I would be 99.9% sure that TW licenses the original version. There were no major changes for the revival - certainly none that would warrant producing new scripts and scores.
