I got 2 sets of tickets, and one set includes tickets for both Mar 20 and Mar 21 evening show. The seats are in Orchestra left section row G. They are middle seats next to each other – i.e, not aisle, and not side seats either.
The original face value for the seat is $189 per evening and I paid for big Ticketmaster fees when I bought it last Oct. And right now I am only asking for $350 for each set of tickets (including two evenings - Tue and Wed). Must buy 2 sets together. Not available for just 1 set.
Payment method: Paypal only. You can choose to pay for “goods and service” option, so Paypal will protect your interest if anything goes wrong. I don’t accept cash.
Delivery method: Once I receive a paypal notification of payment, I will transfer my ticket through Ticketmaster. In order to do this, you must have or create a Ticketmaster account and let me know the email address that you used for that account.
I am a big theater fan, and my friend who was supposed to go with me is a huge Harry Potter fan, which I am not. But unfortunately he can’t attend after all much to his dismay. Oh well.
Did you try calling or chatting with Ticketmaster? They let people return tickets, but I believe there is a 14 day rule, not sure how much that is enforced though so worth a shot. Since you're selling for face value, shouldn't be too hard to find a buyer, just not sure about the transferring. I can't transfer my tickets, but does that change as the date gets nearer?

Yes. Ticketmaster can't refund at this stage. And they are perfectly fine with ticket transfer option.

Do you know this for a fact, or are you just assuming? In London, they have the same time restriction for refunds. However, when a delayed flight caused me to miss Part 1 and I emailed them for options, they said I had missed the 48 hour return for a guaranteed refund, which wasn't something that was published anywhere. I was told the theater will try to sell the ticket (for both parts) to the standby line. It's possible they may offer the same resolution here.
That is, unless you have first hand experience that it is not the case.

Just curious, when you return tickets to Ticketmaster, do they refund the fees?

I returned my tickets because I snagged first performance preview tickets when they released them.
Since the tickets I already had were for August, I was able to get a full refund for it which includes all the fees. It just takes a while to get to talk someone at Ticketmaster.
You'll get credited in a few business days.
