What has he and the rest of the original cast of Dreamgirls been up too?

Especially him...did he just leave Broadway forever after Dreamgirls?

He works with kids up in Harlem -- arts-related stuff.

He also has, if I recall, been working on writing a new musical to showcase the talents of his daughter.

Oh okay because he is VERY talented and I think he should come back to Broadway very soon.

I remember hearing a few years after Dreamgirls (and his Tony win), he quit the biz and became a minister.

I'm not sure if that was true or not, but that's what I heard at the time.

He quit the biz years ago. He did NOT have a good experience when he did Dreamgirls. A certain female cast member whom I will not name was stalking him throughout the run.

Are you serious...are you talking about Jennifer Holiday? I don't know if I can really believe that. But he stayed with the show longer than most of them did anyway didn't he?
