I am sure it hasn't been announced, but is there any way to find out when Ben Platt's last performance is in Nov? Coming to NYC that month and don't want to miss him.... assuming I can land a ticket!

There's no set date yet, but I'd wait to see when they confirm his last day. It should be around November though.

Thanks - we're booked already for Nov 9-14 so hopefully that is early enough that he is still performing!

I heard some people say November 14th because that's exactly one year from when previews started, but things might not be exact.

November 14 is a Tuesday, so maybe the 12th.

I would buy a ticket right now. When they announce his final show the tickets for the last weekend will spike I imagine. I wouldn't risk waiting to hear and get tickets for that week that you are here.

It's between the 12th and the 19th...the reason the 19th is rumored is that it was the last date of the initial ticket release.

Thanks - Telecharge has nothing available for that weekend - I have been watching for a few weeks now - so I might have to consider StubHub (ouch, crazy prices) and not wait for the possibility of cancellation line or lottery success then. All media I was reading was suggesting end of November, so I thought I might luck out a few weeks ahead of his final performance, so this is helpful to know from everyone. Thanks!

I've seen the show 3 times, 2 with Ben and 1 with an understudy. I honestly believe you'll love the show no matter who the lead is. This is Broadway folks. They're not putting someone in to do the lead of a 7-figure-per-week grossing show that doesn't have tremendous talent.

When do you guys think this date will be announced, like when is an actors last date generally announced?

Oh absolutely - I know that. But when you have followed one actor's journey with a show as I have for awhile now, of course you want to see that actor if you can. At this point, I just want to make sure I can get tickets at all, without spending the equivalent of a house mortgage to do it!

He's been in the show for about a year now, so that's rather long, if you ask me haha
still does a tremendous job every single night though!

I saw the show twice before Broadway and have basically given up on seeing it on Broadway while Ben's in it — I'm super curious and looking forward to seeing the second Evan Hansen. No sarcasm!

Why did you wait so long to buy tickets then?

Easy now.... I live in Canada and just confirmed flights for a November trip to New York last week.... this is my first and only opportunity to see the show.

I had planned to come to NYC later in November and DEH is on the top of my list this time. After reading that Ben's contract might end on 11/12, I moved my trip up and was able to snag a ticket on Telecharge for 11/8, the day I will arrive in NYC. I know the understudy is also reported to be amazing, but I've been following this show's progress with Ben from Off-Broadway to Broadway and the Tony Awards. It will be even more meaningful if it's one of his last performances in DEH. I adore the cast recording. So excited!

Congrats on landing a ticket! I have been checking Telecharge religiously for Nov 9-12 but nothing yet, so that gives me hope!

I bought my ticket for the November 8 evening performance on July 15 and I was lucky to find a ticket then. Best wishes!

I really hope you get to see the show during your trip!
I have a feeling they'll release more tickets but most likely at premium prices. Good luck!!!

Thanks, I appreciate that - and if I have to pay premium prices, I will, especially if it is one of his last performances. It's only money, right? :P

November 12th. It's been sold out for almost six months. He has told people his contract ends in November. So, it makes sense.
