The Elphaba or Glinda roles tend to be a great stepping stone for an actor's career on Broadway or entertainment in general.I recall friends wanted to watch Wicked last year since they wanted to know the ending (since they had only seen part 1 of the movie at the time.)At the moment most tourists in NYC right now are here for the World Cup, not to watch Broadway.

I only heard of the Jimmy Awards when I was an adult already (went to public high school in early 00s.) Are they usually high school students from privileged backgrounds whose parents can afford private coaching or students who go to performing arts specific high schools?

Someone paid Tony Awards for a timeslot to do a tribute for A Chorus Line. Someone also paid Zegler to sing the song "What I did for love"? Who usually pays for these? A wealthy donor? The A Chorus Line estate?

The only production of BRIGADOON I've ever seen is the one NY City Center Encores produced for 2 weeks back in 2017 starring Patrick Wilson and Kelli O'Hara. Loved the choreography by Christopher Wheeldon. I always thought it might move to Broadway but sadly did not. I'm grateful for the soundtrack though!

With Book of Mormon canceling all of its performances last week, I wonder which shows those theatergoers chose to see instead.I’m impressed by Every Brilliant Thing’s grosses as it got the 2nd highest overall. I looked at ticket prices next week and the week after and orchestra prices are $894 and $994. I wonder if it will break the Hudson theater record?

Winter Garden is a huge theater. Since rumors are Evita will also head to Winter Garden I'm guessing Much Ado About Nothing won't have an extension?
