442, you will likely see Sean McCourt in the role. He's great, from what I've heard.
I'd really like to see JLT extend (or at least return to the role at some point). She was just amazing in that role.

Maybe I am dreaming but does anybody know if B en Vereen got in a bad car accident a while back? I heard that from many people but I wasn't sure so if you happen to know; please enlighten me with your knowledge. Thanks.
And if he was, it's great to see he is doing much better because he is a great actor!

And yes, Ben was in a car accident, but has made a remarkable recovery.

Posted: 2/15/05 at 10:38amI saw both Sean McCourt and Joel Grey. Sean McCourt made the role actually make sense. Can't speak for Ben or George, but if you go and end up seeing Sean, it's a great performance.

Posted: 2/15/05 at 12:01pmI thought JLT was amazing in the role, and it'd be awesome if she extended, but if she doesn't it isn't the end of the world either. As for Sean McCourt as the wizard... When I last saw it all these people were hoping he'd go on for George Hearn because he was appearently amazing in that part. Also George Hearn left a lot to be desired and didn't even hit some of the wizards higher notes when I saw him.
I most definitely have issues with my word choices on this board.
