Just yesterday I was making it with a guy in the park and we got to talking about Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner's "Duets" cd. We both liked it. Raul, I think his name was.

Female Duets are so many.
I enjoyed all the duets on the "Unsuspecting Hearts" CD that Emily Skinner and Alice Ripley did.
"Unsuspecting Hearts" from CARRIE is one of my all time favorites.

How about "We Make a Beautiful Pair" from Shenandoah? Anyone else remember that? ("...he is the left hand, I am the right, he is the full moon, I am the night...")
Whooops, those gifted Siamese gals sang that, too. Sorry. Donna Theadore sang it with Penelope Milford in the original company.
I think ONCEADANCER2's list is the most varied and interesting.Brava.

Posted: 10/29/03 at 12:07am"For Good" from Wicked and "Three Bedroom House" from Bat Boy, hehe. I heart that song even if it's not a typical duet so to speak.

#23Three Bedroom House
Posted: 10/29/03 at 12:45pmThanks for the reminder. "3 Bedroom House" is a killer number --catchy, funny, character stuff -- AND it actually moves the plot along in a helluva compelling way. (OT: Why hasn't Catlin Hopkins -- who sang it with the much discussedd Kerry Butler -- resurfaced in another show? She was up for INTO THE WOODS, then disappeared.)
