Betrayed from The Producers is a pretty demanding, male powerhouse song.
So is Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar.
I also especially admire At the Fountain from Sweet Smell of Success and Make Them Hear You from Ragtime. Let Them Walk Among You from Bat Boy. Of course most of Jason Robert Brown's male solo work is BRILLIANT bring- the- house- down material. I Am Not The Boy Next Door (Boy From Oz)...

Sigh. Songs written for men are just overall SO MUCH BETTER than songs written for women. Overall, people, yes there are a lot of great songs for women, but overall. I'm so jealous. Many of my favorites have already been named, but here are a few more:
A Bit of Earth - Secret Garden (I can't believe no one's said this!)
Heaven On Their Minds - JCS
Prayer - Scarlet Pimpernel
Purpose - the Q (lotsa love. just a great song)
Stars - Les Miserables

OK... Songs for a male...
Well my first instinct is to list If I can't Love Her from B&B, which I see many of you have listed, but I think most of us love that because of the Blasts from the Awesome French Horn players during the interlude, so that leads me to my top 5...
1.)Giants in the Sky(Very impressive if done right)
Into the Woods
2.)This is the Moment
Jekyll & Hyde
3.)Music of the Night
Phantom of the Opera
4.)Confrontation
Jekyll & Hyde- I know, another one... but belting and
playing pschyzo at the same time 
5.)Heaven on their Minds
Jesus Christ Superstar... I know- odd choice... but
this as far as belting for a guy would compare to
Defying Gravity for a female. Plus it's not overdone.
