Best Ways to Avoid Fees

Are there any websites you can use to avoid fees when buying tickets? Or is there any way to buy tickets from the box office and have them ship it to you or a will call?

Yes! Unfortunately I am not from the city, so buying tickets at the box office once I arrive in NYC is an option, but I am trying to find options to purchase tickets in advance.

And all websites will charge a fee - they need a way to make money, too! And no, you can't contact the box office directly to by pass paying those fees - part of the agreement (I assume) with telecharge/tickemaster. They can only sell to in person requests.
