I've never been to the Circle in the Square Theater before. Of these seats which do you think is better?
Right Side row B 232-238
Right Side Row E 209-215
Left Orchestra Row F 109-115
Thanks so much!!
Have you tried going to the theatre's or the show's website? They may provide a seating chart to give you an idea...

Try going to playbill...or looking at the FAQ on this site.
I was in your row B seat 232 right side. It was an excellent seat. Go for the right side over the left.

Is that STAGE right or the right side facing the stage? (I got seats for row A on the left side facing the stage---are those decent seats---(5 seats from the aisle)?

I have a seating chart. That doesn't help. Since the seating is on three sides of the stage, I was hoping someone that has seen the show would tell me where they think is the best place to sit. From what I've heard so far, it sounds like the seats on the right are better than the seats on the left of the stage. In another post someone mentioined that they liked to be on the right side about halfway up rather than in the first or second row. What about the seats in the orchestra in front of the stage - not the first five rows (AA-EE) which obviously are the best but rows A-K?? Any input would be appreciated. THANKS!!!

I sat Right Orch D 118....and that was a great seat. I would def sit there again. Close enough to take in every expression but far enough back to where you took in the whole show and all the entrances n exits of the characters. My friend sat in Left Orch H 113 and said his view was very good as well.
My advice would be any seat 100's A-H would be "the best" in my opinion (right side preferable over left bc the cast is angled to the right when they are on the bleachers) and I wouldnt hesitate to sit in the first half of the seats (closest to the 100's) on the side seats either (again right preferable over the left) Too high of a seat number in the 200's and you'll be looking at backs alot of the time when the cast is up at the mic spelling words.
Maybe I'm in the minority but I like the left side, having sat on both. My favorite area is row C, seats 206-220 (anything in there or close by).
It's such a small theater that practically anything in the first few rows is just fine. Don't worry about sides because the cast has been carefully directed to play to ALL the audience. The reason I'd choose right over left is because the desk prop is situated there and most the zingers emoted by the adults are coming from that side.

What is it like to sit in the first row AA in the floor seats?

By the time you decide the show will be sold out. Why would you even ask about row AA? This is a show that isn't even on a full fledged Broadway stage. There are 4-5 musicians maybe. The actors are able to walk the entire set off stage just using their two hands. There's no curtain. No special effects. Just think OFF BROADWAY!
dude its circle in the square!! ALL THE SEATS are good! the standing room is even spectacular!

No need to get nasty. I was asking because I have been to two Broadway shows (Urinetown and Beauty & the Beast where sitting in the front row was very uncomfortable (I got a stiff neck from looking straight up)and in Beauty and the Beast some of the set pieces blocked performers. I've never been to Circle in the Square Theatre or seen a show on a deep thrust stage for that matter. When looking at the seating chart it's hard to believe that the show could be staged to give all three sides a good view. Since I'm buying full priced tickets for a number of friends I wanted the seats to be good.
This theatre is so small that every seat is good unless you're sitting on the very end on either side. There are seating charts on both playbill.com and broadway.com if you want to know exactly where the seats are. Also, I think that if you're buying from telecharge.com there's a seating chart. The show is sold out all the time so if you can get tix, do it! I won the lotto, myself but before that I couldn't even get SRO.
