What are some of the best Zoom theatre or performances you've seen that really embrace the form and do something interesting with it?
The Antonyos was one of the first non-awkward Zoom events I watched. Lots of fun and heart and joy and VERY good editing.

I haven't watched a ton of on-screen theatre, but I did enjoy what was done with the recent scenes from Angels in America.

Definitely The Party Hop by Natalie Margolin. It had such a creative premise (the whole thing takes place on Zoom and can only be performed on Zoom) and such a great cast with Ben Platt, Beanie Feldstein, Kathryn Gallagher, Noah Galvin, Ashley Park, Catherine Cohen, Molly Gordon, Kaitlyn Dever and more!

I saw the interactive show One Day Die last night, which I thought was amazing. They frame it as very much of a horror experience, and it was pretty spooky at times, but overall it felt very escape room-y. They send you a box of supplies ahead of time which was a fun touch.

Atlantic Theater’s reading of Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau, directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson. I watched this virtual reading last night... they are streaming it two more times, October 24. $25 suggested donation, but not required.
