A coupla things. I don't know if she would be into the 8 show a week grind at this stage in her career. And if she were into that idea, I have a feeling she wouldn't want to replace.
I also think that she is such a persona that she would upset the balance of any show she went into. And I think they should stick with men as Edna.
She's deeply involved with HAIRSPRAY anyway. She's a major investor in the show. Smart broad!
Well if she was in it for a month. It would generate more sales then seats.
It would be a great way for her to raise money for NYC PARKS HER CAUSE.
