I saw it last night. It was absolutely wonderful. I was really struck by how well filmed so many of his live performances were. Anyone know if they were archival, or if a lot of his shows were broadcast?

GRRRR!! They keep showing this on Channel 13 in NJ, but when will it make it to Channel 12??? Dyin' to see this over here!!

Bill Irwin is so respectable and awesome. Man of so many hidden talents.
I'm a huge fan of his clown-work.
He started a lot of his physical comedy training in the San Francisco Mime Troupe back in the mid-70s
Plus, have you ever seen him as Mr.Noodle on "Sesame Street"?
I'm beyond excited to see him when the national tour of "Virginia Woolf" swings into SF.

...and he made it to The Clown Hall of Fame. Ah, what a great performer.
