Somehow it passed my knowledge that he is currently on Broadway.

He's one of my favorite actors, how is he?

I thought he was wonderful in the show (Pillowman). I know people thought the actor who performed the same role in London was better, but since Billy was the only one I saw I have no one to compare him too. That being said, I enjoyed his performance. He is a doll at the stage door too!

I want to write music. I want to sit down right now at my piano and write a song that people will listen to and remember and do the same thing every morning...for the rest of my life. - Jonathan Larson. Tick, Tick...BOOM!

I've never seen him in anything before, and I became an instant fan of his after this show. The Pillowman is def my favorite play on Broadway now. It's not like anything I've ever seen. Updated On: 3/9/08 at 01:13 AM

He is giving (IMHO) the best male performance on Broadway in THE PILLOWMAN.

I thought he was incredible in the role and am rooting for a Tony win although I think actor will go to Doubt. Looking at him for 2 hours was a pleasant way to spend an evening.

Personally, I think the Tony race is between Bill and Billy. I was astonished by them both and will be happy if either of them win. Billy Crudup really is glorious in Pillowman.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

If Billy doesn't win, I'll be very sad. I have a feeling, though, that James Earl Jones is going to take it. I hope I'm wrong.

I want Billy Crudup to win the Tony. The Pillowman was fascinating. I can't get it out of my head.

Had to laugh when I saw this in The Hippo (I guess you could say it's a NH version of The Voice??) Anyway, they had a little article on the Tonys and some predictions on winners, etc.) Here's what they had to say about lead actor in a play: "My money's on Darth Vader himself, James Earl Jones. As talented as Billy Crudup may be, he still ahs a few years before he can live down leaving his longtime girlfriend Mary-Louise Parker (while 8 months pregnant), who is also nominated this year."

Just thought that was a tad amusing, being in the NH paper! Anyway, having seen all of the nominated performances ( save Jones), I've got to say that I think Billy is the most deserving of the lot. However, I don't think it's going to happen. *fingers crossed*

But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)
