good role for him...im excited about the movie. Oh by the way! I sat with the entire touring cast of Hairspray on a flight from Birmingham, Alabama to Houston, Texas. They were all very nice, I became well aquainted with the Seaweed understudy, he is very nice, as well as other members of the cast.

I saw John Travolta earlier on TV and heard him say it. Love the idea of Billy in that role!!

I love Billy. He is perfect. I would love to see Harvey and Billy. There would be no finer film.
But, Billy is great casting. I plan on attending even if I would rather see Harvey as Edna.
Hope they can have Harvey in the film somehow?
Now I am thinking of the Forbidden Broadway Harvey Tony skit.

I think he sounds perfect for the role. I can see them casting Ryan Seacrest also...but I doubt he can sing.

i thought ryan seacrest would be great i think. i don't know if he can sing the nicest kids in town, but i don't really know if in a movie corny has to sing, you know?

I was hoping for Joey McIntire (sp?) for link. We know he can sing from "New Kids on the Block", and he danced very well on "Dancing With the Stars".

I actually think this is a good bit of casting....not so sure about Travolta though.
