I think the cast has changed since I've seen the show (a year ago) so I have little to no idea who is in it! But I do know that the production is solid! It's a fun night at the theatre with great music, dancing and comedy. You're in for a treat.

Oh yes! The sets in Sunset Blvd. were a mechanical marvel! I mean, to have machinery that powerful that never makes a sound! Truly incredible! And it created such a stunning image!

I know this one isn't nearly as poignant, but Link Larkin from HAIRSPRAY abandons Tracy Turnblad when he realizes that associating with her will hurt his career. Of course, he then sees the error of his ways and everyone lives happily ever after, which we find out in the last five seconds of the show! haha

Umm I sat front row and had quite an enjoyable evening! I actually thought I might get wet from the perspiring hunks as they sang and danced a mere foot away from me! I didn't notice any visibility issues.

Megan Hilty is absolutely the nicest broadway star I've met. She posed for a picture and waited when I had to change my camera batteries! On the same evening, Ben Vereen was a complete jerk, but I've asked around and it seems like he was possibly just having a bad night.

I know the song has been suggested, but if you will actually go to your favorite online video hosting site (Gee, I wonder which one that would be!) and look up material on "You Can't Stop the Beat," you'll find that doing the actual choreography is a GREAT cardio workout when you can't get to the gym! I'm not sure whether he's been mentioned or not, but I'd like to assert a vote for JAMES ROYCE EDWARDS. Among numerous tour and regional credits, He played SKETCH and Understudied for LINK LARKIN in the OBC and first national tour of Hairspray. He then played MATTHEW and then LUKE in Altar Boys at New World Stages. He was most recently in the ensemble of "Encores!" at City Center. In an interview on "Soap Talk," Lewis explained that the role was developed (musically at least) with her in mind! She then got an offer to star in a Lifetime series and declined Hairspray's offer. I agree with most of what Elphaba3 Said. Having worked on the tech crew when the show came through Columbus, GA, I found this mount of the show to be filled with an incredible amount of talent! TARZAN isn't nearly as well-known and popular as LITTLE MERMAID, plus Phil Collins' tunes aren't anywhere near as fascinating as what Howard Ashman and Alan Menken did for the film. I have no doubt that even if they put on the Disney's MGM Theme Park version of LITTLE MERMAID the show would be a big fat hit.
