I'm rather curious this time being I'm seeing the show tomorrow.
But seriously, you should've bumped your old thread.

Posted: 2/18/09 at 11:28pmOkay, well, I'm pretty sure it would be Tommy or David. There's also a slight chance it could be Kiril, and I heard a rumor that they're putting Trent in, but it might not be reputable.

Posted: 2/20/09 at 12:13amJust came back from tonight's show and David was on. He was INCREDIBLE! I want to see the others, but I don't know if they'll live up to David. There is only one way to find out...

I saw David tonight as well. He was just out of this world fantastic. I went in not knowing any of the music but was very impressed.
Also, kudos must be given to the fabulous Haydn Gwynne, who, while battling a cold, was as fierce as could be. I know Haydn and she has told me time and time again that she is NOT a dancer, but she certainly had me fooled!
I see Tonys in the future for both the Billy's and for Haydn. :)

^ a cold? Had me fooled!
And you put it best. David was "out of this world fantastic" and then some. He has the audience laughing, crying, cheering, and dancing. Not bad for a 14 year old!
Not to mention how much fun he was having and how humbled he looked during the curtain call.
I would like to see him (and the others) win the Tony!

Posted: 2/20/09 at 12:37amI was there tonight too. She had a cold? I wish I sounded like that with a cold. David was incredible and I can't wait to go back to try to catch the other Billys. I loved how well the music and dance were integrated into the entire story. And the kids were too cute (especially the small boy and the smallest ballet girl)!

She did indeed have a pretty bad head cold. I talked to her on the phone before the show and I have to say I was a bit nervous!
But, like a true pro, she delivered a stellar performance!
