From those of you who saw the UK production or are familiar with the Imperial Theater: is this show better seen from the Orchestra or Mezzanine?

I'd say front mezzanine.

I saw it in London, and was in the 3rd level (Grand Circle) near the front. I would also agree, sit in front mezzanine so you can see the whole stage.

I would say go for front mezz over orchestra for Billy.
