On the offical website for Billy Elliot, there is an offer to win the DVD. However, it says you need to put in the unique receipt number (what ever that is.) It is called Billy Elliot Taxi Giveaway.

Does anyone know what you have to do?

On the BE fan site it says Liam only. I suspect that the blurb on Dress circle was just the generic desciption given by the production company and it just said who the original cast were, not who was on the recording - I think its a realy shame if we don't get to hear all 3 Billys and in addition to the 3 Elton John tracks, which probably most of the die hard fans already have on Peachtree road, we could have had some of the songs from the previews and versions by the other two Billys + the video of electricity but we will get what we get!

Forgot about postage - always the catch isn't it ? I will probably buy my copy from the shops or theatre as well

I am going to try some number on the ticket I bought for 3rd december to fill unique receipt number. There's a number, I believe, on the right side of the unused ticket.

As for amazon order, if you order above certain amount, you will get delivery free. I haven't order it because I want to buy it directly.

Woo, just ordered my Billy CD, the 2 disk one! I got it from play.com as it works out cheaper than amazon. By the way what is so special about the dvd giveaway, its only the film version, if you want it you can get the special edition one, with bits about ,the musical and the original billys for really cheap.

I don't play the piano but if you do w_tonato maybe you can figure out the rest. I don't know how difficult that would be. I was mainly interested in the chords because I play the guitar but it didn't work out very well (will have to practise more I think) :)

Good luck with convincing your parents shine! Say it's very important stuff you need for school :)

Hello again! I did manage to get the show last Sat. hurah!! my friend and I had to wait quite a long time to get tickets, but we got very good seats in the stalls.
I have never seen anything quite so moving or funny! The a lot of the cast seem to be understudies. they were very good. Tim Healy was fantastic. I didnt know he could sing! James lomas was the boy who played Billy Elliot. What can I say, fantastic, amazing,WOW! He played Billy with such passion, and emotion. His dancing was brilliant.Tim Healy said afterwards that he had just stepped in to cover for one of the boys.I am so glad I got to see one of the first cast members.Afterwards I went round to see if I could get autographs. I chatted to James about his quick return. He told me of his love for the show. He was a very polite nice boy. He even thanked me for coming! I wished him well for his future(I dont think he will need it!)
I will try and go to see it again sometime in Jan when Im down again. Jenny.

Bifi, I'm only grade 5 piano. I don't think I can do that sort of things.
I saw james last friday.

i do hope Ryan stays...as i have not had the chance to see Liam yet and most probably wont until after christmas. and i have herd Liam and Ryan make a great pair so i would hate to see them split up

I am sooo envious of all you guys going again, particularly those of you going on the 3rd december! I have been three times and saw george twice and james once..but unfortunately never got to see liam or leon! And my parents will not let me go again! Boo hoo! So please write reviews and take lots of photos on the 3rd! Very envious lol

Saw the show last night.... and was pleasantly supprised to get the opportunity to see James again....

This young man was incredible and without doubt one of the best performances I have seen (and working next door - I've seen a few now). There is of course no doubt that he has grown considerably and certainly can no longer pass for eleven, it is also clear that his voice is breaking. This however is by no means a crititism of any kind as he is still more than capable of giving an amazing performance that couldn't fail to impress. He very cleverly manages to sing certain parts in a different way to keep within his range and this by no means detracts from the otherall performance. His grasp of modern dance is outstanding and his take on 'Angry Dance' and 'Electricity' were without doubt the BEST I have seen. Whilst it is of course very unfortunate that Liam is unwell I urge anyone who hasn't been lucky enough to see James performance (or has ever doubted his ability) to take these last few oportunities to see his amazing performance.

As usual billy was supported by an amazing cast last night and I thought some of the new ballet girls were fantastic.

Whilst Im sure he must be very sad that his time in the role has come to an end, he and his family should be very proud of what he has achieved. Im sure this will not be the last we hear from any of the original 'billy' cast who in my mind all give outstanding performances in unique ways.

I cant quite work out what it is I like so much about this show as Im not one to typically enjoy musicals, nor do I pretend to know anything about dancing. I can however appreciate true talent when I see it and this show is full of it. I was very reluctant to be taken to this show for the first time.... but have since seen it reguarly and always enjoy every performance.

I'll shut up now....
