Billy Elliot gift certificates?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to get gift certificates for a specific show from the box office? I want to give someone a pair of BE tix for a gift, but I'm not sure when they can go and I'd rather not ask them in advance (ie ruin the surprise) if I can help it. I know there are telecharge gift certificates, but I'd really prefer to get them tix for BE in particular.

Alternately, wondering if the box office might allow an exchange of date if it's done far in advance? I know the official policies; just wondering if anyone's experienced any leniency on this front.

Any input would be much appreciated!

I've never heard of such a thing. The problem with a gift certificate would be availability. Plenty of folks would get upset if the date they wanted to exchange it for was unavailable.

The only thing I can think of is:
Telecharge Gift Card (as you said)
OR
make your own gift certificate on your computer and THEN you can have them give you a few dates they can go and you can procure the tix for them.
