I'm going to see these three shows next week and I'm, needless to say, beyond excited.
I just have a few questions if anyone could be kind enough to give any information. :)
1. SO has anyone seen N2N from the back of the orchestra, the center section? When I bought the tickets there was a small disclaimer saying that portions of the show would be obstructed, specifically a few moments where Gabe appears on a high level of the set. Is it fully obstructed, like I can't see any of it? Or partially obstructed? And does it affect the show too much?
2. I also got tickets for Billy and they're towards the back of the mezzanine. I haven't been to The Imperial yet and was wondering how big the theater is and what its like from that area.
3. And the third and last question is, does anyone know if any understudies might be scheduled to go on for any of the shows? (N2N Tues the 23rd, Billy 2pm matinee on the 24th, and WSS the night show.) I checked Broadway Understudies, but was just wondering if anyone might have an inside information.
4. Ok... one more question! Sorry! Is there any set schedule for the Billys in Billy Elliot? I was wondering what one I might see. Is there any way of figuring that out before I get there?
THANKS so much for any help, and sorry if I took up too much of anyone's time. Thanks again!

The rmezz(in my opinion) is the best place to sit for Billy. It is a big show, so it is great to sit high/far to take in the whole stage. The view is great. There is no set schedule.

Where are your tickets for NtN? I was in row O and the view was fine. Though any further back, the top tier will probably be obstructed (as in cut off. You only miss about 1/3 of one song, it doesn't affect too much).

Yeah, the only thing for N2N you would miss is the top tier and its not used all that much. Mostly just in a couple of songs and ONLY by Gabe (Kyle Dean Massey) the overwhelming majority of the show takes place on the lower and middle levels of the set.
Yeah, we're in Row P I think. Yeah, it said there's just three instances where it's obstructed, and it's just the character of Gabe when he appears on the highest level. I was just wondering if it was totally obstructed, or just partially obstructed. But if you were in Row O and were ok, then it shouldn't be too bad.
Thanks for the help so far!
Your best best for understudies is to keep checking broadwayunderstudies.com
If the understudies themselves report in they will write up the announcemnt...but remember: illness isn't planned.
