"But Susan Sontag's dead...so I guess her cancer wasn't metaphorical after all...sorry."
Newintown is kinda a bloody bloody kill joy...making up false audience reaction to further his negative Nancy attitude? shame.

Would anyone know the exact time an 8pm show would end? I'm trying to see a 10pm show downtown, and it makes a huge difference if Bloody Bloody ends at 9:35 or 9:45. Thanks!!
I hit the street between 9:40 and 9:45. You'd be cutting it really tight.
"A guys' not supposed to know his own legacy before he's dead!"
And it's not funny, but the choice to end the show
SPOILERS SPOILERS
with the commencement speech at Harvard with, "I'll see you in heaven," was a very interesting choice that really brought some serious contemplation to the show.
So many great lines, but I just about died laughing when AJ quoted TLC's "Waterfalls".

Memorable lines from Bloody Andrew Jackson? Well, let me see...uh...er...um...
I really like the show, but respectfully disagree with Kad. That extended business, milked ad nauseum by the actor playing Van Buren, is so out of control. I can't believe the director has allowed it all this time (it was even longer, much longer, the night I saw it at the Public).
Nathan Lane can get away with extended bits of ad lobbing; he does it brilliantly, and he's the star of whatever show he happens to be in. That the director allows BBAJ to stop cold while a minor character engages in endless, strained, unfunny business, while (both times I saw it) about three (3) audience members laugh themselves sick, and the other thousand or so sit in silence, waiting for it to end, is astounding.
I found the greatest improvement of the Broadway transfer to be the tightening of the pacing...with the glaring exception of this guy's three act play about crossing his legs and eating a Twinkie.
