Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson is a Beast

Literally, Ben Walker has been cast as Beast in X-Men:First Class.

That's the same role Kelsey Grammer played in the X-Men series.

(He's not blue in this new movie though)

Which is good for him career wise, but may cause some problems with the planned transfer dates

Will BBAJ wait for its star?
....but the world goes 'round

Can't see them taking a chance and transferring without him. If a transfer happens, guess it won't be happening till the spring.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."

He was excellent in the role, but if they found a more recognizable name (nationally recognizable), I have no doubt they would go ahead with that star.

I would love to see him shirtless/naked! ha! But I think he had the right mix of sex appeal and little boy cowardliness that suited the role well.

This is a better thread than the newer one about Walker because it discusses his nude form. Sometimes the bar just has to be lowered.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them transplant someone like Jonathan Groff in the role. Enough "star power" to bring in the Gleeks, and I actually saw him in the role when I saw it. Heck, they look alike.

^The show is certainly able to be a star vehicle, just as long as the crazy antics of the cast remain intact. I'd love to see Neil Patrick Harris take on Andrew.

Who is irreplaceable in any current project in development?

I think Yank could certainly be done without Steggart (much as people adore him) and Catch Me could be done without Tveitt. Why? Neither one is a name that sells tickets to the tourists, who are the ones who keep a show running long enough to recoup.

Yes, shows do make $$ without a known name, but it would be naive to think that your show is going to do that in advance. Otherwise you run the great risk of becoming another [title of show].
