I was in Hawaii this past summer and I saw her perform in "You Somebody," at the Diamondhead Theater. She was okay- but it was a low-key production and none of the songs demonstrated her vocal range that well. But she is very funny, and I can see her bringing lots of humor to the role of Bloody Mary. And she definitely looks the part. Hopefully the songs in South Pacific bring out her range!

How sad.

So many people were hoping that Loretta Swit would make her long-overdue return to Broadway in this role.

Terribly sad.
