How are the actors at the stage door after Boeing Boeing? After seeing In Plain Sight the other night, I think Mary McCormack is a riot! Would love to see the show and stage door! I would usually rely on Jaystarr but he didn't stay around! Come on Jay you are slacking!!!

She's fantastic in the show...it's so nice to see an actor actually create a character! What a concept...
Though I don't stage door anymore, I just had to for this show. The whole cast was extremely friendly and gracious, even Gina Gershon, who was running to the airport to pick her friend up and still stopped to sign and take pictures. Watch out for Bradley Whitford's bike.
Isn't Bradley sexy? I never thought that until I saw him in this. I kept hoping he'd take that shirt off...as I've said before.
I've always thought he was sexy. Jane Kaczmarek is a lucky, lucky woman.

Thank's for posting that video. I told me everything I need to know about the cast at the stage door. I am extremely excited to see this show next Saturday.
I just have one other question. By some stroke of luck, I am seeing A Catered Affair that afternoon before I see Boeing Boeing That night. Since A Catered Affair is only 90 minutes long and right across the street from the Longacre, it seems I can stage door Boeing Boeing twice.
Does any of the cast come out after matinees?
One of my friends was there last week. She said that Christine Baranski is one of the first to come out --- usually with her stage makeup still on. She stays with the fans for awhile, usually engaging them in conversation. She's then followed by Mark Rylance, Katheryn Hahn, Mary McCormack and Bradley Whitford. She said that Rylance, McCormack & Whitford usually hang with the people at the stage door for awhile -- take picutres, sign autographs and that kind of thing. Hahn, apparently, is a little wishy washy: sometimes she signs, sometimes not. From what I've heard, she pretty much peaces out of there. Gina Gershon is the last to come out and most people don't wait around for her.
My friend did point out that you're more likely to see the actors after the evening show, rather than the 2 p.m. shows. She said about 1/2 of the cast stayed at the theatre after the 2 p.m. show rather than leaving for a little while. Best bet: go to the 8 p.m. show & then head to the stage door.
Good luck!
PS: Bradley Whitford is, in my opinion, quite sexy. There's something about the crazy hair & dimples. :) And apparently, he's one helluva nice guy.
Kathryn Hahn was a total sweetheart when I went.
And yes, he is a lovely and friendly guy, and quite sarcastic, another reason I love him.
Guess is just depends on whether or not she wants to get home for the night! (Can't blame her on a Wed/Sat when she's done two shows . . .I'd want to go home too!)
Love the Whitford -- I'm going on August 16th and I absolutely cannot wait. :)

I stage doored after a Wed matinee and everyone came out except for Gina Gershon. But I had to run somewhere so she might have come out later. They were all super nice and friendly. Kathryn Hahn still had her wig cap on and was looking for her nanny so she was a little preoccupied but still signed and chatted a little with people.

They all came out after a recent matinee - though I saw Gina Gershon escape through the door closer to 8th Avenue. Very friendly, very happy to take photos, sign autographs, etc, etc.

Thanks for the info. I was expecting Gina Gershon to be the hardest autograph/picture to get, but I am willing to wait. I have waited for so many years since Showgirls, and I am willing to wait a little longer. I am also glad that I have two chances.
I am happy to hear that the rest of the cast is so friendly (I already knew that about Christine, since I have already met her twice). I am extremely excited.
I will be sure to let all of you how things go next week.

I found Bradley Whitford even sexier after this interview:

He's FUNNY! He's got a great butt! And he's smart! Thank the lord!
I'm convinced that Bradley Whitford doesn't know what to do with his hands - so he always puts them in his pockets. Well, that just tightens his pants around his butt.
So thank you, Bradley Whitford, for not knowing what to do with your hands! :)
I'd imagine Gina Gershon would be a little dodgy right now because I'm sure she's being hounded by reporters with the whole Bill Clinton thing. She was very sweet (I was actually surprised) when I went, though.
I'm going to go look at pictures of Bradley shirtless now. Be back later.

You win a cigar, ShbrtAlley44.
I just got back from the show.
First of all, it's the funniest damn thing I have ever seen! I will definitely be back to see it again after it wins the Tony tonight, hopefully in August.
Second, there were more than a few celebrities in attendance. I saw Fisher Stevens, Griffin Dunne, and John Lithgow all coming out of the stage door.
Despite the rain tonight, the stage door was near perfection.
I met all six stars, and got pictures with five. They were all saints to put up with this weather.
You can probably guess by now the one I didn't get a picture with. Gina was was a little camera shy, partly because of my camera. I use a Canon with a swingout screen. The stage door guy thought it was a video camera until I showed him it wasn't with Mary McCormack's help. By then, it was too late to get a picture with Gina. Do I send my hate mail to Vanity Fair, or to Big Willie?
I have two quick questions:
Does anybody know how long this cast is signed for?
Does anybody know if Gina Gershon has a vacation scheduled in August?
I appreciate any information.
I will post all of the pictures from my entire trip very soon.

Can anyone tell me how long the show lasts for? I'm thinking of going to see one of the 8pm shows next week, but I like to know how long shows last for :)

It's 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Sorry, another question: Where is the stage door located?
If you face the Longacre from the street, the stage door is at the left. If I remember, it's almost like it's a gated alley.
When I saw the show in July, the cast was a complete delight. They all came out except Gina, but each really took the time to chat us up, sign autographs, and take pictures. Mary, Bradley, Christine, Mark, and Heather made this a most special stage door experience.
