Yes, I was there. It was a great show. Gina Gershon wasn't in, which disappointed me, but her understudy (Roxanna Hope) did a good job.
Bradley Whitford seemed particularly goofy. At one point he ran up the wall between two of the doors; he seriously looked like Spiderman. He was practically standing on the sill over one of the doors, and I was very impressed with his agility.
(The last time I saw the show was opening night and he didn't run up the wall then, so I'm not sure if it's now a common occurrence or if he just threw it in there tonight).
During the curtain call dance, while he was dancing with Mary he said something to her and kissed her, and he kissed each of the other girls as he danced with them.
Bradley, Mary, and Roxanna were all given red roses during the curtain call. Before they all walked off-stage there were lots of hugs, and Bradley and Kathryn were making out.
I was glad to see Bradley and Mary's last performances, and I'll miss them!

The last time I saw the show, a couple of weeks ago, he was climbing the walls then. :) I got the feeling that they were all more comfortable in their roles because there was a lot more improv back in August, compared to May (when I first saw it).
LOL, Bradley making out with Kathryn. Bet his wife would LOVE that.

Well, I don't think his wife was there, so I'm pretty sure he's safe.

Bradley did his best Spiderman imitation when I saw the show again last Friday. I'm glad I went back. Everyone had gotten so much more comfortable in their roles from when I saw the show in the first week of previews back in April. And I agree about Roxana Hope, she was great. I actually felt she was a bit better than Gina Gershon, but that could have been because I saw her so early in the run.
#1Elphie, do you know why Hope got a rose too? Is she leaving the production as well?

Posted: 9/7/08 at 7:46pmI thought I had read somewhere that it was also going to be her last show . . .but I could just be mixing up things that I've read recently . . .

Posted: 9/7/08 at 7:59pmThat definitely makes sense; I can't think of another reason they would give her a bouquet of roses, and the other cast members did seem to be saying goodbye to her by hugging her (even the ones who aren't leaving).

Posted: 9/7/08 at 8:26pmI believe Hope is going on tour w/ Frost/Nixon. Maybe Gina sat out the performance and let her go on?

Posted: 9/7/08 at 8:47pmGina's on vacation -- I think she was supposed to be out for 2 weeks. I have no idea when she went out, so maybe her vacation coincided with the other girl's ending date?

Posted: 9/7/08 at 9:18pmYou're right. I just checked the cast list and she'll be playing Caroline Cushing, which was the role that she understudied on Broadway.

I may have to kill Kathryn Hahn in her sleep.
Joking, joking...
...maybe.
