Posted: 8/23/04 at 9:52pmYeah it isnt doing too great here but it's a smash in london. I guess it cant compete with shows like Wicked, Avenue Q, The Boy From Oz...Ive heard good things about it though from people who saw it

Posted: 8/23/04 at 9:54pmthe London version was so good. I had a great time. I haven't seen the broadway version, but I know they changed a couple of things. The only thing that BOMBAY DREAMS was competing against in England was PHANTOM, MAMMA MIA, and the Rod Steward musical.

Posted: 8/23/04 at 9:54pmI've heard horrible things about it. They said it was cheesy and stupid and just an overall bad production.

Posted: 8/23/04 at 9:56pmA few of my friends who saw it with me in England thought that too, but I had to tell them to think of it as a bollywood movie (which it mirrors). If you think of it like that, it is really enjoyable.

Posted: 8/24/04 at 7:39pmI greatly enjoyed it in London. I haven't seen in on Broadway. Truthfully, I don't want to.

I liked "Bombay Dreams". Is it the best show on broadway, like you incredulously wrote? .. NO... but it was fun.

Posted: 8/24/04 at 9:01pmBD was fun. The music was energetic. The performers were charismatic, and I had a great time with both incarnations (london/N.Y.). Is it the best musical? No, but it's one I would pay full price for to see it a second time (which I'm doing on Thursday). Updated On: 8/24/04 at 09:01 PM
