Posted: 12/19/05 at 3:53pmmuscle23ftl, did you ever see Bombay Dreams in London? I actually thought it was better there than it was on Broadway.

Posted: 12/19/05 at 5:14pmUm, I don't know what to say. I'm puzzled as to why Thomas Meehan thought it would be the "event" of the season. I'd be curious to know if anyone from the Broadway cast will tour with the show though.

I was so bored, I got more entertainment watching the people walking behind the people getting interviewed.
After WIW, I am done with Andrew...I just cannot do it any longer!

I loved the show. I'm not quite sure why people are so pissy about it, unless they know nothing about Bollywood, which is most likely the case. Great music, gorgeous costumes, typical Bollywood underdog story, fun choreography, what's not to like? I had a GREAT time and hope to see it again. Shakalaka Baby was one of the most exicting musical numbers I've ever seen on stage. Fantastic lighting! And Ayesha Dharker was a joy to watch.

You're joking, right? Please tell me you're not that much of a bitch.

You have GOT to be kidding.
I completely agree with Matt. I saw the show dozens of times..not by choice, but I severely enjoyed EVERY minute of it.
No, all of the acting wasn't great. No, the show is not brilliant.
But it acheived exactly what it set out to do, which was to bring Bollywood to Broadway - and they succeeded admirably.

Thanks, Nick (muscle) for posting this. I love this show too.
I love lots of different shows.
And of course there are a few shows I hate, but I don't waste my time whining about them.
