Sister is in town seeing Hamilton matinee and I'm hoping to get us both Book of Mormon tix for the evening. Last time I went (4 years ago), I got in line around 8am to SRO (as I do for most shows).
Does anyone know if that's still the case for an evening show there? Thanks in advance. Trying to reconcile my memory with what it says online.

Definitely not, especially for an evening show. You probably won't have to get there before 3 if it's a two-show day. Maybe 4 or 5 if it's a weekday.

I pass by there a lot and there is hardly ever a long line. Walked past today around 3 and there was nobody standing there. I pass by around 6:00 most evenings and usually see anywhere from one to 5 people in line. I see more people in line for Chicago than Mormon most days. Their lottery crowd is not as big as it used to be either.

Two Saturdays ago I won the lotto for the first time ever after trying over 20, maybe even 30 times, since it began. People who lost the lotto and then got on the SRO line were definitely close enough to get tickets and you can wait on the line while the lotto is going on.

On one freak pleasant fall night late last year, I actually passed by after lotto was over and got a standing room ticket. I'm not sure how often that happens.
