I really don't know, sorry, but its Boq not Bok.(I only know because of the book, your way is the seemingly obvious way to spell it)

yes, it's a double with the real Boq offstage singing/speaking.
Boq, and I would warn of spoilers in your post, just in case there's someone on this board who actually has no clue.
there is a fully dressed "tinman" inside that giant wardrobe thing when it moves onstage with elphaba in tow. when the chair with boq in it is rolled behind they swap out and boq does his lines from within it
I doubt there's anyone left on this board who has no clue what happens. So many threads, i'm sure people who haven't even seen the show know it by heart.
No, actually it is a quick change and under-dressing.

Saying "spoilers" is kind of moot if you've got what you're spoiling in the title of the thread.
Just sayin'.
And it is a double. The actual actor playing Boq isn't seen as the Tin Man until "March of the Witch Hunters."
Hmm Kringas, are you sure? When Boq comes out for the curtain call, he's dressed exactly as he was before the switch. He never seems to have a speck of silver on him. It's perfectly conceivable that he could wash off and come back though.
Look closer, You'll see it's him all along, great quick change tho.
Also, nice jock strap on him as the Tin man, clever quick change.

That's cool. This thread (among others) says it's a double too, though. I could be wrong, though. If I am, though, I don't understand why the actor playing Boq clearly lip synchs to his own voice when he first comes out behind from behind the wardrobe, but talks and sings live during "March of the Witch Hunters."
This thread
I don't understand why this is being debated because anyone who has any concept of time would know the Tin Man is a double.
Elphaba virtually rolls the wheelchair behind and SL of the closet without stopping. A quick change that is so involved and complicated is just not possible.
In comparison, think of the Galina quick change at the top of the show (good witch to Shiz). It takes about 25 seconds for the actress to leave the stage and return (add to that climbing onto the suitcases). That change doesn't involve any make-up or complicated wardrobe pieces so it can get done. (I would have paid to see in the early days when Kristin also changed her wig)
haha your title is a spoiler in itself...not that it matters to me lol

It's for sure a double during "Wicked Witch of the East." It was really obvious in the Chicago cast when Adam Fleming was the double for Telly Leung.
