Braxton & Marroquin in Philly's 'Chicago' opening 12/20

Philly PR just sent me all the press info. for the return engagement of Chicago. All the casting is not confirmed, but I did confirm that Brenda Braxton and Bianca Marroquin will return as Velma & Roxie. These 2 gals are simply wonderful in these roles. Make the trip to catch them, if you can.

I second PB, I'm hoping to get up to Philly one night to see the tour while it's there! Bianca is excellent!

Saw them both last week in Toronto. Overall they were great, with Marroquin taking the spotlight. Braxton needs to step up her vocals. She isn't consistant throughout the show. Carol Woods (as Mama) was phenominal, working If You're Good To Mama, for all it's worth. The male ensemble is excellent but the female ensemble needs a couple refinement rehearsals with the dance captain.
Great cast, the tour is in good shape.
