No, for many reasons, including that it is not open to the public, and I have to work still at 6:30pm, which is when the show starts.
If I could, I would definitely go!

Posted: 5/10/06 at 12:49amWow, I remember hearing that the preview period would begin in March and I was like "wow, it's going to take forever to show to open" but it sure has gone by quick. Can't wait to come home tomm. and read the reviews.

The show was UNBELIEVABLE tonight. Perfection! So much energy and heart. I've loved being able to watch it grow and change and be a part of it.
Well, previews are over. Tomorrow's the night we've been waiting and working for.
Here goes nothing...

All the very best to the cast - I'm sure it's come on a lot since I saw it at the end of March, and here's hoping that the critics are kind. I thought it had a lot of potential, and really want to see it succeed.

Peopel tell me it has not fundamentally changed since I saw it on April 12th.
I hope they are wrong because the talent on stage deserved to be in a much better, much less boring show indeed.

Posted: 5/10/06 at 5:57amIt has changed considerably since April 12. Whether that is good enough is another story. Bring on Mary Poppins!

Just a general idea would be great,
Cheers, Lee

Posted: 5/10/06 at 10:03amFrom a lover of one of its sister shows (the one across the street LOL), all the best wishes of "Break a leg!" to Tarzan on Opening Night!

It's a slightly shorter, considerably tighter and possibly louder show than it was. Nothing of genuine substance was changed. But in terms of sheer agression, it seems to be working better for the more suggestable members of the audience (ie those who think bright lights, fast action and loud noises constitute real theatre). I know this sounds snobby, but against my will I've had to see this thing twice and it makes my head spin to think this was ever put on stage.

Lee, the show is vastly improved. Tighter, more aggressive, faster paced, better lighting. Not major changes on the surface, but it does make it more effective.
You must give credit to Disney for how far they have come in 6 1/2 weeks. They've done an enormous amount of work. Unfortunately, what they began with was not nearly enough to make it completely work.

Vinnie?!?!? Why have you copied my posting from ALL THAT CHAT? How strange.
This is what I wrote:
"I've seen it twice now (the second time quite against my will). It is vastly improved. Tighter, more aggressive, faster, louder. Cosmetic changes, all, but it does make it more effective.
One must give credit to Disney. They've done enormous work. Unfortunately, the ball was dropped too early on to truly make a good evening of it all."
