I have recently been working on this new television series called
'Breaking In'.
Think of it as "Extras" for theatre. With splashes of "The Office" and
"Always Sunny in Philadelphia" thrown in.
The show follows a group of young directors, actors, writers, and
producers who are trying to break in! Anyway this could be a very
exciting thing for our community.
The premier is going to be April 1st with a huge party and screening
in New York at New World Stages. If you're not in New York, we still
want you involved.
Colleges across the country are having their own simultaneous parties
to watch the pilot episode. Over 15 schools have signed on so far,
including U-Mich, Emerson, Carnegie Mellon, CCM, and Boston
Conservatory.
If you'd like to get your school to participate. It's totally free. We
send you everything.
If you want to host a party at your school, e-mail
howtobreakin@gmail.com and we'll get your everything you need.
To top it all off the host of the biggest launch party will receive a
free trip to NYC and be in an upcoming episode of Breaking In.

Hey All,
I'm Ryan, the exe prod & director of Breaking In.
Right now, we're doing 6 episodes for Itunes/YouTube/Google Video.
We're editting the pilot right now, and it's coming along well. I can't wait until next week when we announce the guest stars. Amazing people!
Cool stuff.

So it's a new television series that's not on television, or did I miss something?

Well, it follows pretty standard tv guidelines, each episode between 22-24 minutes in length.
We're using the BBC, 6 episodes per season structure.
So yeah, it's EXACTLY like a tv show. Except you can watch it on your laptop or video i-pod....

What channel will this show be on?
It's going to be exclusively online for now, but if the public(you guys) show enough interest in it a possible network pickup is not out of the question.
Sounds great! Let us know when they will be available online! :)
April 1st at Midnight! There will also be a show website. I will get the link and post it on here!

I totally thought it would be so funny if someone started a website with all the juicy gossip of our favorite Broadway folks but then I realized that's what these boards are for! lol!
