So much odd about this casting...not that I don't like him, he's very talented. But...its just...well..okay, A) Though a semi-character role, Barnum is mostly leading man (Cameron originally chased Hugh Jackman who said he might sorta maybe might do it but not this summer, obviously something happened and he put Cam out of his misery) B) There was no one else in England? C) There was no one else in America? D) There was no one else in ... Australia...?

I saw him in Minsky's in L.A. a few years ago. I thought he was very good and should be a nice fit playing Barnum. He may not be Jim Dale but it's decent casting and he'll be fine.
