Posted: 7/16/14 at 4:07pmI find the Winter Garden to be such a strange theater. It's so wide. And the mezz is so shallow. It's an odd space. I'm surprised it's been the host to so many hits. I can see why it would work for Cats because it was basically a thrust stage, which would be ideal for the space. But a typical, proscenium show like Finding Neverland? Those side seats are terrible.

"Honestly though, that set is just so God Damned impressive, they should just keep it and incorporate it into any other show that moves in there."
I agree. Easily the most intricate and technically impressive set I have seen.

Might be worth poking around on here to find out how easy rush seats are to get, would be cheaper and not partial view.

Posted: 7/21/14 at 1:19amOther than listening to the CD and seeing the Tony performance, did you actually see the show? Andy Karl is the show and he is phenomenal in it so dont judge it on just the CD and the Tonys. You are right about the Tonys. They should have shown Andy and Margo singing or Terence's big number. Anything would have been better than the fight.
