"I got my bell rung!" He continued to reveal to People that: "All in all, I'd like to think I feel okay. But I got to be honest with you, I feel pretty beat up. I want to make very clear to everybody that - first and foremost - I was honored to be asked to be at the Tonys. I'd never done it before and in all my life it's not something I thought I'd be on. I was really excited."

Ok, I think slightly higher of him now.

"After a performance by [POISON and] singer Bret Michaels at the Tony Awards Sunday night, he turned to exit the stage and was struck in the head by a descending half-ton stage prop, sweeping him off his feet causing contusions to his face and knocking him to the ground. Even at that point of impact, the heavy prop was still not halted and continued to descend even though Michaels remained underneath it. Witnesses state the singer moved himself out of the way just moments before the prop touched down."

Hello, it was automated! People gotta get their facts straight!

I feel like Michaels has one last minute he can squeeze out of this whole thing. Maybe some sort of announcement next week where he asks the TONY Awards to pay for his hospital trip or a another cancelled show due to his "lingering injuries". Even a follow up CAT scan to announce that he is in fact okay - and will be filming Rock of Love 4 in August. The guy knows how to milk a moment.

I wish he would sue them. I'd love to see the truth come out in a trial - and show him to be the grand-stander he is.

Will someone shut him up?

The only thing he's good for is trashy television. Me thinks someone wasn't paying attention at (or wasn't even at) rehearsal.

For anyone who says they didn't guffaw when he bit it, you're lying.

Barney Stinson is completely right.

Rocks, Bret Michaels is a human being. Wait, he's a celebrity (or so I hear), so he's a SUPER human being. Are you laughing at the misfortune of a SUPER human being? How dare you. This is BWW. I expected better.

The fact that he claims there were no cues for him to leave in multiple statements boggles my mind.

The fact that people are still talking about this boggles my mind.

I agree, it's time to let it go. I think he doesn't realize that he is the only one who cares about this still. Instead of complaining, shouldn't he be shooting Rock Of Love season 120.

I feel like even if the drop was automated, there should still be a button to make it stop. its just stupid if there isn't one. cause, what if it happened in a show with someone who wasn't a complete idiot? There would be a lot more questioning about it.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.

It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known.

Anyone who is in a show is in enough dress rehearsals to know. There wasn't a malfunction, he was just careless.
