Bright Lights, Big City Promo Appearance in Phillly!!!

if you are in the philly area tomorrow, Friday, June 9th At 5:00 pm., Some of the cast of "Bright lights", myself included will be singing some songs from the show @ Tower Records on Broad and Chestnut, right next to the Prince. it will be about 1/2 hour long, and I think they will be giving away the cd of the show to some people.

the song list is as follows: (I think)

Bright lights, into "so many little things"
Orfeh doing an uptempo version of "my son", which is a one time only performance.
"heart and soul"
back in the city, into Bright lights.

please come if you can, would love to see you there!!!!

A friend of mine went this afternoon and cannot stop raving about this cast. I got to hear Andy's "Back In the City," and he sounded absolutely phenomenal. Her excitement for the show now that she's seen the cast do some songs is making me even more excited...I seriously cannot wait until I see it on June 23rd!

A bunch of my friends went tonight...last time I talked to them, they were on their way home to NY, so hopefully one of them will jump on here and post a review!

From the little bit I talked to a few of them, though, they were all raves about the cast and their performances - especially Jeremy and Andy, which is exciting.

Ruprecht, Clara (if memory serves), is a very strong role but isn't a role that's very big and showy. I don't know if girls would rush home and talk about "Clara" (Orfeh or not), before being excited about Tad/Jamie. Just my 2 cents. Please do post your "review" after you've seen it nonetheless. I don't know if I'll make it back East in such a short time, so I'll have to count on you and Bree.
