Forgot to ask, what kind of and size Playbill or theatre program did they give out? I'm thinking of writing to the cast to recieve one signed.

since i cant live in NYC, heres why im proud to live in Atlanta! It was amazing! I honestly didnt think i would like it at all, but i really really enjoyed it!
First off, i was surprised when Bridget, played by Ryann Redmond came on and i realized i knew her from a workshop. She was fabulous then and she's even more fabulous now.
The music is definitely more ITH than N2N. The first number of act two was VERY 96,000. Twig, played by Jon Rua, sounded like Lin himself.
I was pleasantly surprised with this, a quirky cast, hilarious one liners, and great costumes, i think this show will be a huge hit once it is ready for broadway.

Has anyone heard if they're going to make a cd after Atlanta?

I saw it in Atlanta, and I definitely have some mixed feelings. The video screens were occasionally very effective, but it was definitely overused. I, too, thought the first part was slow and that it only picked up when the second high school entered. I only liked a few of the songs and the book wasn't very good either in my opinion. The interpretation of how high school kids talk was pretty off. The audience, however, seemed to love it. At the talk back there was a lot of positive review of the book. To me, the best part of the show was the dance and the cheerleading stunts in particular. The stunts were absolutely incredible and the show was overall entertaining, but nothing incredibly groundbreaking or exciting. It actually reminded me a lot of Legally Blonde.
