Bringing Gifts/Fanmail to Actors Before a Show?

Hi everyone,

This is a weird question, but I hope you guys bear with me. I want to bring gifts and a card/fanmail to the theatre for an actor whose birthday is coming up soon. Due to my work schedule, I can't make it to the stage door after any of the performances, so I was wondering, is it at all possible to get things to actors, or to at least get the items backstage for them so that they'll receive them whenever they arrive to the theatre? Perhaps asking one of the house staff members if they can bring them backstage for you? I don't know... Have any of you ever done something like this before?

Absolutely! I've gone to the stage door prior to shows on multiple occasions. There is no guarantee you will see the actors of course, but it's always worked out for me. At the very least, you can make sure their name is on it and leave it withsecurity at the stage door. Just know or hit the door bell.
