So, at Broadway Bares does anyone in the audience dress up (or down)?
I'm attending my first BB in June (VIP ticket, standing down the front) and I'm very keen to commemorate it with a special costume. Anyone have any thoughts?

Posted: 5/8/08 at 6:46pmI went to the one last year, which had a mythology theme. I don't remember seeing any of the audience members in costumes, though I don't think anyone would think it weird if you did decide to wear some kind of get up. Just know that it gets very hot & crowded, so if I were you I wouldn't wear anything too big or restrictive.

Dress comfortably bec. its gonna hot and humid. There's no seating neither- you will be standing....People usually move~ its like being in a club! very crowded...
Make sure to be there early bec. the line is very very long...starts at the theater next to August Wilson and it goes around the block to the stage door of Roseland.
Yeah~ you can bring a camera.. people were snugging photos here and there during the show..I dont think they were really strict about it.. bec. people are always moving during the show! Its like youre inside a club~EXACTLY!
btw- I saw the midnight show last year.
Enjoy! you will be glad to see it.. there's tons of cute muscular gay guys wearing tank top, drinking beers and you will be standing VERY close to them!

Posted: 5/9/08 at 8:03pmVIP section is not standing in front, that is where general admission is... Lots of people pushed up against the stage. VIP is a section a little ways back and elevated, with tables and chairs.
