Melissa25 said: "Every Brilliant Thing with Tracee Ellis Ross is up for 7/7,8,9 for $30.50"And if you think TDF couldn’t screw up their redesign even more, they have now refunded all those tickets saying they posted them at the wrong price point!
"La Cage" at City Center
RippedMan said: "I haven't been since the pandemic, but I'd always get a great seat up in the Balcony for fairly cheap? But maybe that's changed. I guess their whole model needs to be updated. Longer rehearsal process, etc."I got a front row balcony seat for La Cage for $38. Great view. No discount, that’s the regular price of $35 plus $3 fee. There are tons of cheap options to see Encores, just not in the orchestra.

At least Passport offers are listed again. Except if you click on one, when you go back to the list you have to select the Passport filter every time, which is really buggy on mobile.
TDF Down
Passport still isn’t even listed.

Wow the new site is utterly horrible.Shows are not listed alphabetical and there is no way to sort them that way. They are just randomly listed.Clicking to view a show removes any filters, you have to constantly keep selecting Broadway every time you click anything. Each show listing has a huge square space that takes up so much screen real estate, so instead of scrolling down a list of all shows you can only see 3-4 images at a time.Shows no longer display the prices or dates until you click ...

WldKingdomHM said: "I would be shook if this gets a nom for best musical. Me thinking prob set and score(maybe) I’d rather have them give a nom to Sho for dealing with that direction in Act 2 at the end of Wild"It is for sure getting a Best Musical nom. It’s not a great show and I expect the reviews to be middling, praising only the set and the actors, but look at the competition. This was a terrible season for new musicals. You think Beaches or Queen of Versailles is gonna get nominated!? It...
THE LOST BOYS Previews
Just got back from tonight’s performance. I have not read any feedback on the show (or seen the movie.) First off the show is way longer than it has any right to be. It ended at around 10:57 (and it then took a full ten minutes to get out of that theater from the balcony! Seriously the logjam there is terrible.)The problem is you really feel that length. We don’t need half the songs to be slow ballads about family. It seriously seemed like every other song was sung by Shoshana Bean, who don’t...
GIANT Previews
I was also at the dress tonight and I echo the previous post. Lithgow commands the stage with a towering performance. I couldn’t take my eye off him. One thing I hope they fix before paying patrons arrive is I was in the mezz and it was very hard to hear a lot of the dialogue, especially in Act One. Other people around me said the same during intermission.

The gentleman in front of us did the exact same thing and she literally gave him the death stare forthe entire curtain call - he didn’t get the hint. At first I was emb...

ROB LAKE MAGIC WITH SPECIAL GUESTS THE MUPPETS Previews
Saw it tonight, the show ran exactly 80 mins, no tech stops. Started 7:02 and ended 8:22.It was… fine. A basic magic show with some brief appearances by the muppets (who all got huge applause from the audience.) The tricks (illusions!) were impressive to see live and up close but nothing new that hasn’t already been done before in umpteen tv magic shows. I was in 3rd row center which was cool, but there was nothing that made me go “Wow, how’d he do that!?” like I get from sometimes watching F...
Will The Lost Boys Break Broadway's Vampire Musical Curse?

It gets leaked online every once in a while.

LITTLE BEAR RIDGE ROAD Previews
I really enjoyed Laurie Metcalf and Micah Stock, they were both incredible and the dynamic they have together really works. See it just for them. The show itself, meh. Definitely wasn’t moved emotionally by anything, at least the comedy hits when it needs to. The drama felt like waters that have been well-tread many times.
