It is for sure getting a Best Musical nom. It’s not a great show and I expect the reviews to be middling, praising only the set and the actors, but look at the competition. This was a terrible season for new musicals. You think Beaches or

Just got back from tonight’s performance. I have not read any feedback on the show (or seen the movie.)

First off the show is way longer than it has any right to be. It ended at around 10:57 (and it then took a full ten minutes to get out of that theater from the balcony! Seriously the logjam there is terrible.)

The problem is you really feel that length. We don’t need half the songs to be slow ballads about family. It seriously seemed like every other

I was also at the dress tonight and I echo the previous post. Lithgow commands the stage with a towering performance. I couldn’t take my eye off him. One thing I hope they fix before paying patrons arrive is I was in the mezz and it was very hard to hear a lot of the dialogue, especially in Act One. Other people around me said the same during intermission.

Saw the show on 12/16 from the second row. The gentleman in front of us did the exact same thing and she literally gave him the death stare forthe entire

ROB LAKE MAGIC WITH SPECIAL GUESTS THE MUPPETS Previews
 Nov 2 2025, 09:13:02 PM

Saw it tonight, the show ran exactly 80 mins, no tech stops. Started 7:02 and ended 8:22.

It was… fine. A basic magic show with some brief appearances by the muppets (who all got huge applause from the audience.) The tricks (illusions!) were impressive to see live and up close but nothing new that hasn’t already been done before in umpteen tv magic shows. I was in 3rd row center which was cool, but there was nothing that made me go “W

Will The Lost Boys Break Broadway's Vampire Musical Curse?

To answer the article's question: no.

However, Lestat was recorded, but Elton is keeping it locked away. It gets leaked online every once in a while.

The recoded Broadway cast album has never been leaked online. There are tons of bootlegs and some early promo songs.

I saw the show last night and I literally have zero memory of a stewardess. Was that cut sin

I really enjoyed Laurie Metcalf and Micah Stock, they were both incredible and the dynamic they have together really works. See it just for them. The show itself, meh. Definitely wasn’t moved emotionally by anything, at least the comedy hits when it needs to. The drama felt like waters that have been well-tread many times.

“Martin Scorsese no longer watches films in cinemas due to audience bad behaviour” - has your theatregoing been affected in the same way?

Because a large corner of TikTok seems to think so, and some are actually creating an uproar if they're told not to sing during the movie, others griping that their theater was "too quiet" and they walked out.

I saw an audience-filmed clip from the United Palace screening which had lyrics on t

Does the box office check IDs

Crusty Bagel said: "I know on TDF it says the box office will ask to see an ID. Also lottery wins, and other ticketing schemes. Do they actually check though? The only place that actually asks for it is city center for the cheap tickets for under 40 year olds."

They ask for ID to see if it’s the same name. They don’t actually check ages.

Billy Porter: "Blacks Have Replaced The Jews"

How have "Black replaced the Jews" when none of the Black characters in this production are Jewish? Herr Schultz is Jewish and he's white. Sally isn't Jewish. Cliff isn't Jewish. The emcee isn't Jewish.

Saw this tonight and had a great time! Betsy Wolfe is incredible and is the reason to see this show. I thought the music was catchy, and the show was overall a fun time. I don’t know if it was a theater school group or something but there was a huge group of young people there tonight and they all loved it! There was a lot of cheers and positive audience responses. I’m not really that familiar with Betsy Wolfe, does she have a large youth following? Actu

operIncident at Operation Mincemeat
 Jul 2 2025, 04:15:18 PM

Several people have commented on Reddit that they were also at this same performance and the alleged “incident” didn’t happen. People sitting in the mezz and orchestra all did not hear it. There were also comments that the person who wrote this story is questionable.

So unless there is a confirmation from a second party, I’m gonna go with bull**** for clicks.

There’s a chance that at least one of the seven people in the audience that night poston these boards.

Ha! Yes I was at the final show on Sunday. They moved us all down to front mezz so that was nice.

As others have said, the show was very funny and quite moving! I admit I had tears at several points.

I’m seeing it Sunday. I don’t really know anything about it or the performer, but it’s a $28 Access City Center ticket. I’ll see almost anything there for $28.

Just saw this tonight and oof it was terrible. There’s no other way to put it. The jokes were just so flat and lifeless. The story was just so stupid and boring. I was almost nodding off several times during Act 1, which felt like it lasted forever. The balcony was so empty! Basically only the Access 28 tickets were sold on the far sides and some in the back, most of rows B, C and D were almost completely empty. I moved over to a great center seat with no one in front all the way down.

I was at the same performance last night. The woman whose phone went off was sitting directly in front of me. I felt bad for the coughing man though. I have had that happen to me during shows and that tickle spasm that won’t go away is terrible. Water/cough drops don’t help. There’s not really anything you can do about that.
