Posted: 7/22/04 at 11:31am::laughs:: Yeah. I went by one day to see the POTO team play...then saw part of the Producers vs. Avenue Q game. Ave Q got completely and utterly, for lack of better words, owned. 'bout a 20 point difference.

This sounds thoroughly amusing. Who plays? The leads, the ensemble, the standbys?
And I love to root for the underdog, so go AVENUE Q!!!

Posted: 7/22/04 at 2:32pmAvenue Q only has a main cast of 7, so who goes to play? How many players are needed on a baseball team? I'm sooo not a sports guy.

Posted: 7/22/04 at 2:33pmBeats me. I could definitely picture them all playing!

Oh poor Avenue Q. As for the numbers, I'm not sure how that works. Maybe John is playing first and Rod is playing second? :) That would explain the losses....

LOL, meaning Rod is a catcher and John is a batter?
I think Rod is definitely a catcher!
I don't know about John being a batter, though....
Ok, I'll get my head out of the gutter.

No, BlueWizard... join me! It's a wonderful place.
Anyhoo, back to topic. I can imagine them all playing and have a blast because they're all such fun people, but in NO way being good. I'd LOVE to see this... you can just go and watch?

LOL, okay I will.
Who wouldn't like to stick a head in a dirty gutter?
Oh no, that's perverted too!

You just can't stop, can you BlueWizard? lol, it's okay. I've had my share of gutter moments in the past few days.
lol, Plum. I just picture Jefferson Mays running ALL over ALL by himself. He'd get awfully tired!

Really? You're lucky. I haven't stuck anything in a gutter in a long time.
Maybe I should start offering my gutter....
...But yeah, baseball!

Oh dear.. no! Not that lucky... I've said a lot of things in the past few days (seeing Adam and all) that have caused me to wave hello to the gutter several times.
We need to stop threadjacking, yes?

Hmmm....I don't think we're talking about the same thing.
But I agree, let's get back on topic. What teams are currently leading?

The standings are on the site. But I believe that Beauty and the Beast has a perfect 8-0 record.
I woulda been interested to see how Shuler Hensley (Jud in the Oklahoma revival) played. He used to be a pitching prospect, I think.

Posted: 7/22/04 at 6:34pmBeauty and the Beast won when I saw them - Steve Blanchard was in center field. The saddest team I saw was, alas, Rent, although Jeremy Kushnier, their best athlete by far, gave it all he had, even sliding hard into third base in shorts, for god's sake!

Posted: 7/22/04 at 6:36pmDisney would not find it acceptable if at least one of their shows did not have a perfect record....
