Broadway Cares Flea Market

Hi! I was wondering if you could tell me about the flea market the 25th? I am flying up for the day from ohio, and I have never been. What is the celebrity table about? I mean I know celebrities sit there and you pay to get in the line. Do you pay more for a picture? Also, are they allowed to sign playbills and such? Are they around when not at the celebrity table? What kind of things has everyone bought at the flea market? Sorry for all the questions, but I have never been and I want to know what to expect. Just input anything you know or any experiences you have had. Thanks!! :)

All sorts of fun things to be had at the flea market. Old playbills, props, costumes, etc. Two friends of mine, who are huge Raul/Taboo fans got a couple of the Vivienne Westwood broaches that were used in the show. I've gotten some fun AIDA props the last couple years. Fun stuff.

I don't go to the table, so can't help you out there.

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I would like to bring a couple of CD covers for the stars to sign. (Nick & Nora for Joanna Gleason, Taboo for Rosie O'Donnell and Raul Esparza) Will they be able to sign those at the celebrity tables? Thanks!

I called Broadway Cares - you can bring anything you want signed and each star will sign one thing.

oh my gosh on the taboo westwood props.....I am one of *those* taboo people. I would love love love anything taboo. I can't even imagine owning a part of that fantastic show. *melts*

Its a ggreat day of fun when most of the Broadway shows have tales and u meet performers from all the shows as well as off Broadway shows. get there early all the great items like bway show jackets and autographed memrobilia get bought up early in the day. And foe anyone looking for a bway themed christmas ball or picture frame stop by my table we will have lots to choose from all hand designed.
