Not Broadway, but the original West End cast of A CHORUS LINE (Americans) were replaced by British performers after a year. IIRC, it was a special deal with British Equity.
The entire American cast then became the "International Company" and played Toronto and Miami Beach before setting off across the U.S. as the second or third "national tour".

Gaxton and Moore toured with Merman's Broadway replacement, Venuta, in ANYTHING GOES for a few months.
In '98 I saw Charlotte D'Amboise and Brent Barrett in Vancouver in the tour of Chicago--who both went on to play the role on Broadway, if that counts.
No, the whole point of the thread is to name Broadway peformers who did the show on Broadway, and then went on tour with it.
