Shoshana's reminded me of a cool Gryffindor common room lego set I had, it was cozy. She had these drawback curtains hanging on opposite sides towards the middle of the room pulled back and it was big, but not as large as I'd expect for the lead of Wicked to have

The Golden Theatre's dressing rooms are the only Broadway dressing rooms I've seen but I loved them
The Q girls' dressing room had a wall covered in fan mail and both dressing rooms had fan art on their mirrors

I used a bathroom that 2 guys share backstage. I felt oh-so-special.

I did finish the role of toilet paper and didn't have any to replace it with but they'll never know....

andrea mcardles dressing room (at the palace) when she was Belle was gorgeous...it was two rooms...one part dressing area and the other part was a beautiful sitting area with couch, tv, etc...it was like a nice NYC apartment! that was the nicest one i have seen.
tom wopat's room for Annie Get your Gun(marquis) was quite lovely..large and he even served drinks!
andrea rivette's (emma carew) dressing room at Jekyll and Hyde's Plymouth was TINY and barely fit her costumes...some had to be hung in the hallway..
the Jekyll's were the only ones who had the one large dressing room...the dressing rooms at the Broadway Theater are pretty nice...all of them..private baths...
and yes, greg jbara's is quite cozy and welcoming..but thats greg for ya..
the best dressing room award goes to the theater in seattle where miss saigon and jekyll and hyde played..i can't think of the name of it right now(not the 5th avenue)...but the star dressing room has a jacuzzi and fireplace!! nice one to visit!

Miss Saigon played at the 5th Avenue earlier this year, but you've got to be thinking of the Paramount - - MS played there several years ago. It figures that the only theater in Seattle that crams the audience into too narrow, too old chairs and runs the temperature up would provide the opposite for the actors. Nice to hear there is one good thing about the Paramount.

The old Velma dressing room at the Shubert was fantastic. Phenomenally big and it actually connected into the basement of the Booth. It was decorate differently for each Velma and when Roxane Carraso was Velma for 3 months, it had a Chinese theme. Lots of deep reds.

That room is now the wardrobe room for Spamalot.

I also loved Bernadette's dressing room for Gypsy. It had a bit of a tropical, tiki theme going on. Very festive, but then again, the backstage at the Shubert in general is pretty festive re: Broadway Dressing Rooms - What's the Coolest You've Seen?

Most that I've seen have been pretty boring and some are downright awful. I guess the exception is what was Matthew Broderick's when he was in the Producers. They now use it for the green room for everyone.

i have only been in Greg Jbara's at the imperial. not bad. small, but i think all are. right next to John Lithgow which is cool. has a window. everyone can see it if they watch his webcams on wed. and Sat. it's a reflected image but you get the idea. it;s cool stuff.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.

I have to agree-- most dressing rooms I've seen aren't all that exciting and, in general, are very tiny. Unless you're a big star, you ain't getting the "stah treatment" on the Great White Way. re: Broadway Dressing Rooms - What's the Coolest You've Seen?

Kristin Chenoweths Charlie Brown one was adorable =D She had a little bed with a pink blanket and Sally Lights everywhere.. her wicked one was BEAUTIFUL. It was all Pink with flowers everywhere and wands =D It was rather big. Louise Pitres was also rather big and she had photos of her dog all over the place. Tina Maddigans was covered wall to door with Britney Spears photos. All the Saturday Night Fever dressing rooms were the size of NYC.. Orfehs was REALLY Big and really nice..wish I could have lived there. Chances are Rosie has her old room now.

When I saw Jekyll and Hyde a few years ago, my friend's dad somehow got us tickets to have a Q&A with the cast beforehand and we were allowed to walk backstage. I don't even remember who was in the show at the time, because I was kind of young, and it didn't really matter to me then. The dressing rooms were kind of dull, I remember. Nothing too exciting. But I think I touched something, or leaned against something while this man was speaking, and I got yelled at. re: Broadway Dressing Rooms - What's the Coolest You've Seen?

Harvey's Hairspray dressing room is fabulous and still in tact: the anteroom is plastered with photos he took throughout the run, and they go all the way up to the ceiling. The door to the dressing room is a running commentary on everyone who's ever used it (Vanessa Redgrave was one of the many names on that door).

Vicki Clark's and Michael Berresse's dressing rooms at The Light in the Piazza are also wonderfully homey and large, and they all have a bathroom and shower! Michael has a great photo on his wall of a bunch of cast members shooting the breeze, and Vicki has a watercolor of Margaret in her Rome outfit, among other things.

Ok, so it was in DC and not B'way... and not really even a proper dressing room - but is the only time I've had a reason to go backstage. Presenting - RAGTIME! And I'm not really a ghost, that is a killer flash!
