I was utterly shocked when I saw that The Frogs had filled 98% of its theater, and I was equally shocked to see that Little Shop has been doing considerably well, Caroline too. Wicked was in first place for grosses for the 2nd week in a row, and Lion King followed. For the frontrunners and underdogs of this week, click the following link.

The entire list is on playbill.com. Was anyone else shocked by some of this weeks results?
PS: Wonderful Town had better close soon; its doing much worse than Little Shop or Caroline ever did!

Posted: 8/11/04 at 12:44pmGiven that every Frogs thread on this board points out that the bad reviews and publicity from the firing of Chris Kattan won't harm it as the entire run is practically sold out, I am not shocked about The Frogs' capacity at all.

I am surprised about The Frogs - but pleased.
Caroline and LSOH is to be expected. It's the last minute "I have to see it/see it one last time before it closes" syndrome.
